Directions to National Taiwan University

National Taiwan University (NTU) is located in Taipei downtown area which is about 10-minute walk from Gongguan station.
You can take taxies or MRT to get to Taipei from Taoyuan International Airport.
  • Taxies are available 24 hours a day outside the Arrival Hall of both terminals. Airport taxies charge according to the meter in addition to a 50% surcharge (highway tolls not included) and provide transport to anywhere in Taiwan. Taxi fare to NTU is approx. NTD 1,300.
  • MRT is available from 6:00 to 23:30. You can take MRT(Mass Rapid Transit) at both airport terminal 1 and 2. To get to NTU, first, you can take Taoyuan Airport MRT from Airport Terminal 1 or 2 station to Taipei Main Station and then transfer to Tamsui-XinyI Line of TRTS (Taipei Rapid Transit System). Second, you can take Tamsui-Xinyl line from Tapei Main Station to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall station and then transfer to Songshan-Xindian Line of TRTS. Finialy, you can take Songshan-Xindian Line from Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall station to Gongguan station, and NTU is next to Gongguan station. MRT fare to NTU is approx. NTD 200.
