Paper Contest
To encourage all Automation 2024 participants to present their excellent research works in automation and technology, three different kinds of Paper Contest are held in Automation 2024, as shown below:
- BC-Best Conference Paper Contest (must submit Full-Page Papers)
- BS-Best Student Paper Contest (must submit Full-Page Papers & the first author must be a student)
- BP-Best Presentation Paper Contest (for either Full-Page Papers or One-Page Papers)
- The contestant must be the author of the contest paper.
- The first author of Best Student Paper Contest must be a student.
- When contestants submit their contest papers for Automation 2024 through the online submission system, contestants must choose either the 'Best Conference Paper Contest' or the 'Best Presentation Paper Contest'. If a submitted paper does not select either contest, it will not be eligible to participate in any paper contest.
- The finalists for each paper contest will be determined and announced by the Review Committee on Nov. 11th. Each finalist must present their paper orally to the judges during the specified contest session. Failure to complete the presentation will be considered an automatic forfeiture of the paper contest qualification.
- For each Paper Contest, 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, and 2 honorable mentions will be awarded to the Paper Contest Finalists. Awards will be announced, and certificates will be delivered at the Banquet.
- Contestants found to be involved in plagiarism will be disqualified and may face legal action.
- Each competition paper can only participate in one paper contest at Automation 2024 and cannot be entered in any other paper contests or contests elsewhere.
